How to get a young king snake used to be handled/touched?

I recently brought a young king snake and it has been staying at my sisters house for about a month. She brought it down about a week ago, I left it to settle and held it a few times before I fed it on the Monday. I obviously left it a few days after that so it could digest the mouse but since then it has been really agitated and agressive. He keeps shaking his tail and going to strike everytime I go to put my hand in the cage to change the water or change the aspin. Are there any tricks I can use to get him more used to being handled or even touched?
