What paper do you use to write a thank you note after an interview?

I need to send out some thank you notes for the internship interviews I did today, but I'm not sure what paper I should write it on. I don't have any personalized stationary. I have leftover resume paper, but no envelopes. Should I just go out and buy a pack of thank you cards?
